CLAAS UK have announced a change to their management structure which takes effect from 1st May 2005.
Clive Last moves from Chief Executive to Chairman of the UK Operations and although remaining a full-time employee has handed over day to day executive responsibility to a Team of Four General Managers.
Trevor Tyrrell becomes Head of Marketing & Sales with responsibility for all aspects of Promotion, Sales and Supply. Trevor (37) joined CLAAS as a graduate recruit in 1989 and has held various Product Management, Sales and Marketing roles prior to becoming Head of the Sales Division.
Alastair Tulloch becomes Head of After Sales, a position which embodies Service, Technical Support, Training and Parts supply to the network of CLAAS dealers covering Britain. Alastair (55) joined CLAAS as a Training Instructor in 1972 and has progressed through various Service & Technical roles prior to becoming Head of the After Sales Division.
John Poole becomes Head of Business Administration which adds Personnel and IT to the traditional role of Financial Controller and Company Secretary. John (44) joined CLAAS in 2000 after a career in Accountancy with various international production companies.
Richard Vaughan becomes Head of the CLAAS Retail Operations with direct responsibility for the network of 22 dealer outlets in which CLAAS UK has a financial involvement. Richard (40) was originally a Service Engineer who grew his own dealer business in Somerset, which later merged with a neighbouring dealer to form Western Harvesters, a five-branch dealership where he has, until recently, been General Manager. Richard replaces John Orchard who retires from the position after 18 years with the CLAAS Group.
