Chile-Salmon exports hit.
CHILE.
SALMON EXPORTS HIT.
The Chile US$2.2 billion salmon export industry, is at a standstill over the outbreak of the salmon disease, Infectious Salmon Anemia.
The industry that has grown at a steady pace in recent years, depends largely on the salmon farms in the south of the country.
Environmentalists are now suggesting, the industry should be boycotted or banned which is causing more problems for fish farmers.
