DENMARK-PORK EXPORTS TO AUSTRALIA UP 50%.

Danish pork exports to Australia grew by almost 50% to 44,000 tonnes from 2006 to 2008, according to FoodCulture.. Australia is currently the biggest non-EU market for Danish pork. Christina Hviid, MD of Danske Slagterier, the Danish Bacon & Meat Council (DBMC), says Australian consumers appreciate the high quality of Danish pork and the high food safety level in Denmark.
