Entries are pouring in for the second collective sale of tractors, agricultural machinery, plant and equipment at Shrewsbury Auction Centre on April 3.
The closing date for catalogue entries is March 20 and already consigned is a special entry of around 160 lots from the estate of a late Oswestry area farmer.
Tom Jones, who manages the sale with John Rossiter for Halls auctioneers, said there would also be a vintage section in the April sale following demand from both vendors and buyers.
Around 500 lots of plant, tractors, agricultural machinery, 4 x 4 vehicles, ground care equipment, tools and sundries went under the hammer at the first sale on February 6, which attracted a large crowd despite heavy snow in the Midlands and South West England,
Mr Jones said Halls had received lots of positive feedback about sale together with pledges of plant and machinery for the next auction.
"We are attracting entries from across Shropshire and surrounding counties and hope to cast our net even wider," he added. "It is particularly pleasing to see many long established customers returning to the sale, which we plan to develop into one of the best in the country.
"Shrewsbury Auction Centre gives us the valuable option of holding sales either outdoors or indoors in inclement weather and there is plenty of space on the 14-acre site."
