European Union-Free Trade Agreement with South Korea.

SOUTH KOREA-FREE TRADE AGREEMENT.

There seems to be a belief that a free trade agreement will be signed , however the group claimed that the deal would be opposed by many EU member states.

John Cooke of the Liberation of Trade in Services group said , "that would be a serious mistake if the European Union turned its back on the opportunity".

The European Union is South Korea’s second largest market, the car manufacturers of Europe are terrified of any trade deal.

The USA was a different proposition, because of the large beef exports from the United States to Korea and the desperate need for this market.
