NEW GENERAL MANAGER.

David Waugh has been appointed as the new general manager of the Faulkland Island Development Corporation, which includes responsibility for the multi million dollar abattoir and meat processing plant.

Mr Waugh took up his position in October and was formerly working with the Canary Wharf Development in London.

The meat plant exports lamb and beef to the UK, which travels on refrigerated containers on Ministry of Defense Vessels.

The skins are sold to a company in Yorkshire England.
