Farmers go back to college to learn about livestock
Farmers and students flocked to Reaseheath College to learn ways of tackling the costly problem of pneumonia in livestock.
Farmers from a wide area of Cheshire, Staffordshire and Lancashire joined agricultural students from Reaseheath and from Llys Afsi college near Ruthin, North Wales, to particpate in the free workshop.
It was the latest in a busy schedule of events being run for members of the farming community by Reaseheath Agriculture.
The day involved a farm walk, which took in the cattle sheds, sheep sheds, poly tunnels and the piggery, all of which are located on the college campus.
