Friendly farmers are staging a touring exhibition to urge consumers to support British food and farming.
The NFU Food and Farming Roadshow* will begin its autumn tour of the south with its first ever visit to the Bicester Shopping Village in Oxfordshire on September 14.
Here farmers will tell Tesco shoppers about the origins of their food and visitors will be able to milk the Roadshow's model cow, view day-old ducklings, or try to win a farm holiday online at www.friendlyfarmclub.com
Lancashire farmer and rural poet Johnny Ball is presenting the NFU Food and Farming Roadshow, supported by county farmers.
He said: "Why not come along and find out all about your food and where it comes from? Friendly farmers from your area will join me in answering any questions about food and farming."
SPECIAL ATTRACTION
The NFU Food and Farming Roadshow is to visit shopping centres in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire from September 14 onwards. It is also a special attraction at the Thame and Oxfordshire county show in Thame on Thursday September 16 and at the Newbury and Royal county of Berkshire show from September 18/19.

Hours of opening are 10.00hrs/16.00hrs at superstores - otherwise hours coincide with show opening times.

Consumers can learn more about seasonal British food when they visit the NFU Food and Farming Roadshow.
