Finland's Anttila would merge agriculture and environment ministries
Sirkka Liisa Anttila (centre), Finland's agriculture minister, wrote in a column printed by local paper Forssan lehti in its Sunday issue that the agriculture and forestry ministry and the environment ministry should merge in order to do away with overlap and seek synergy benefits.
Ms Anttila added that the goal might be a merged outfit mirroring the employment and economy ministry, created at the beginning of the year by folding together the trade and industry ministry and the labour ministry.
