Hy-Line UK Managing Director honoured by colleagues

Andrew Hignett, managing director of Hy-Line UK, has been honoured at two celebratory dinners in the first month of 2007. The first, hosted by Aled Griffiths OBE of J A & O Griffiths and Sons Ltd, was held at Hawkestone Park, Shropshire and brought together many leading lights in the poultry industry. Later in January, John Campbell OBE, owner and Chairman of Glenrath Farms hosted his annual Directors' Party at the Peebles Hydro Hotel in Peebles, Scotland surrounded by family and staff.

On both occasions, Andrew Hignett was presented with gifts in recognition of his friendship and commitment to their businesses over the years and as a gesture of thanks in the year of his retirement. Both Aled Griffiths OBE and John Campbell OBE have travelled the world with Andrew as Nuffield Scholars.

Commenting after the events, Andrew remarked, "After being part of this industry for so long, I'm very fortunate to be working amongst so many friends as well as colleagues. It was a real privilege to be recognised by both Aled and John, whose support and friendship have been of such value over the years."
