ISRAEL-SWINE FLU CONFIRMED.

An Israeli hospital on Tuesday confirmed the first case of swine flu in Israel, adding that the patient has fully recovered.

Hospital officials said the 26-year-old patient recently returned from Mexico.

Laniado Hospital’s medical director said Israeli Health Ministry laboratory tests confirmed the patient had contracted swine flu but is in "excellent condition".

No other details were immediately available.
