Knight Cultivator options at Cereals 2011
Knight Farm Machinery showed its versatile linkage-mounted Raven cultivator, now available in three working widths and a wider choice of implement configurations, on the Rabe stand at Cereals 2011 this week.
Originally launched last year as a 2.8-metre machine, the Raven is now available in three working widths from 2.5 to 3.1 metres and also with the option of three or five sub-soil tines as the first row of implements.
The sub-soil legs are followed by shallow-working tines, two rows of rubber-cushioned discs with depth adjustment from the cab, and a large-diameter packer roll that can also be adjusted hydraulically from the tractor seat, providing additional control of cultivation depth.
The adjustability of the Raven allows it to be used as a one-pass cultivator, a secondary cultivator or a sub-soiler.
