Kuwait-Government US$1 billion for cattle and sheep trade.

CATTLE SUBSIDY.

The Ministry of Commerce in Kuwait, has over US$1 billion to spend in subsidies to the Livestock Trade and Transport Company, which is state owned.

The money is to bring down the cost of meat to the general population, bearing in mind that per populate Kuwait is the wealthiest country on earth, with 3 million ex patriot workers to take care of the small population.

Kuwait import around 150,000 live cattle per year to be ritually slaughtered.

The governments transport company own 5 vessels of their own used for carrying livestock.
