New energy supplement for poultry
Lovit LC-Energy liquid for poultry enhances utilisation of energy and protein during critical stages of production when birds are subject to metabolic disturbances.
It contains a particular combination of compounds — L-carnitine, betaine, sorbitol and magnesium which have different functions, such as stimulating feed consumption, improving digestion and enhancing liver and renal functions.
Specifically, L-carnitine plays a key role in energy metabolism, betaine helps protein utilisation and the immune function, sorbitol provides an instant supply of energy via the liver while magnesium helps overcome deficiency symptoms.
Lovit LC-Energy is added to the drinking water at the rate of 1-2 litres per 1,000 litres of drinking water for a period of 3-10 days, at key stages in production, up to laying peak and can be used throughout the broiler cycle. The aim is to overcome such problems as decreased feed and water intake, fatty liver disease and kidney disorders, and stress due to changes of diet or high temperatures
Supplied in 5 litre bottles and 25 litre canisters, Lovit LC- Energy is competitively priced.
"With feed prices at record levels it's vitally important to ensure that birds do not suffer health or nutritional checks, but consume all of their rations and convert them efficiently throughout the production cycle," commented David Beaumont, Lohmann Animal Health Speciality Products.
Lovit LC Energy is available in the UK from Hatchery Healthcare, Oak Lodge, Fauls Green, Whitchurch, Shropshire, SY13 2AT
