New plastic panelling system for livestock

A new range of tough, hygienic, multifunctional plastic panels for livestock buildings has been introduced by Herefordshire-based Hanco Agricultural.

Primarily designed for agriculture, the Multiboard system comprises Multiplank, Combiboard and Ultimate ceiling panels. Suitable for pen and wall partitions and ceilings, in piggeries, poultry houses, dairies and calf pens, they slot together to give a smooth, easy-to-clean surface which is resistant to chemicals and disinfectants.

Available in a range of sizes and thicknesses, a variety of heights and widths can be achieved by using boards of different dimensions, making for an extremely flexible system.

The 35 mm thick Combiboard is available in widths of 500 and 750 mm with closed edges to keep out dirt.

Multiplank, featuring a tongue-and-groove connection, is available in 200 mm and 500 mm widths and can be used vertically or horizontally. A 50 mm version, where extra strength is required, is also available.

Combiboard and Multiplank panels, in grey or white, have two layers of PVC. The core is made from recycled material while the top layer is colour-fast, new plastic.

Ultimate, 10 mm-thick white ceiling panels, 250 mm wide, are available in 3, 4, 5 and 6 m lengths and supplied with edge profiles and division bars for easy assembly.
