NFU champions the best of British agriculture at the Royal Show
The NFU aims to champion British farming at the Royal Show, the event widely regarded as the largest in the agricultural calendar.
Visitors who share a passion for farming, food and rural life are invited to pay a visit to the impressive NFU stand and to attend a range of seminars throughout the event which takes place at Stoneleigh Park between Monday July 3 and Wednesday July 5.
The Royal Show will also provide NFU members with the opportunity to visit the NFU’s new Stoneleigh Park headquarters building. A visit to the stand will allow them to register for tours of the building on each afternoon of the three-day event.
NFU President Peter Kendall said: “We look forward to meeting people at the NFU stand and giving them the opportunity to visit our new headquarters building during the event.
“Our range of seminars will aim to provide people with cutting edge information about key topics affecting the agricultural industry.”
On Monday July 3 there will be three seminars with the Food Chain coming under discussion at 11.30am. The afternoon will see seminars about Dairy and Nitrates at 2.00pm, and Rural Development Re-connection at 3.00pm.
Tuesday July 4 will also see three seminars held on the NFU stand. At 11.30am Livestock Cross Compliance will be the topic, whilst at 2.00pm it will be Biofuels and Non-Food Crops, and at 3.00pm SPS will be featured.
On Wednesday July 5 there will be a seminar on Agricultural Waste at 11.30am, before the SPS seminar is repeated at 2.00pm, followed by a 3.00pm seminar looking at Pig, Poultry and IPPC.
To guarantee your place at any of the seminars you can call 02476 858758 or e-mail your name, NFU membership number and mobile phone number to membership@nfu.org.uk.
