Northern Ireland-Farmer in court on cattle charges.

NORTHERN IRELAND-FARMER IN COURT ON CATTLE IDENTITY CHARGES.

John Maguire, Ederney, Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, was convicted at Enniskillen Magistrates’ Court on 26 January 2009.

He was convicted of one charge under the Cattle Identification (Enforcement) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1998.

Mr Maguire pleaded guilty and was fined £1,250 plus £48 costs.

Mr Maguire was convicted of one charge of failing to keep a herd register in contravention of Regulation 3 (4) of the Cattle Identification (Enforcement) Regulations (Northern Ireland)1998, in accordance with the form set out in the Schedule to the said Regulations, contrary to Regulation 3 (1) of the Cattle Identification (Enforcement) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1998.
