NSW farmer invents machinery for Asia

A farmer from Tamworth in New South Wales has designed machinery that has the potential to revolutionise farming methods in Asian countries.

Jeff Eisdale has developed a toolbar for the two wheel tractors used throughout Asia.

With the help of the Federal Government's Centre for International Agricultural Research, the machinery will be distributed throughout developing countries for under $500AUD.

He says the equipment will provide a cheap option for the no-till farming method, aimed at reducing soil erosion.
