PAKISTAN TO IMPROVE MEAT INSPECTION.
The recent ban on meat from Pakistan by the United Arab Emirates, has caused the government to improve the meat inspection facilities in the country.
Currently 40pc of animals killed have no inspection.
The potential of Pakistan as a meat exporting country is excellent, with 24.9 million buffalos, 57.7 million sheep and goats along with 530 million poultry birds.
The government is sending a delegation to the UAE, to try to restore the export facilities from Pakistan.
