DEADLY VIRUS IN MONKEYS AND PIGS.

Experts from three international agencies including the United Nations and World Health Organization are in the Philippines, trying to solve the mystery of the deadly Ebola outbreak, that is believed to have started with monkeys and spread into the nations pig herd.

This is the first time the virus has been found outside the monkey population, and WHO experts believe that is not dangerous to humans.

Pork exports have been stopped and 10,000 pigs are in quarantine classed as infected, while hundreds of thousands more, are in quarantine under restricted movement orders.

It is believed that HIV originated in the monkey population.
