Plans call for countrys largest poultry market in capital city

The capital city will soon have the country’s largest poultry market under plans for Ha Vi Wholesale Poultry Market in Thuong Tin District revealed recently by the municipal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Covering 2ha in Ha Vi Hamlet, Thang Loi Commune, the market would cost around VND20 billion ($1.17 million) and construction would be finished by late 2009.

According to the plans, the market will be able to accommodate and transport 20,000 live fowls daily.
