RUSSIA-CATTLE POPULATION.

There were 21.1 million cattle in Russia on Dec. 31, 2.6% less than a year ago, the federal statistics service said Tuesday.

The numbers of cows on the date fell by 1.3% on the year to 9.2 million. The numbers of pigs increased by 1..2% to 16.3 million. The numbers of sheep and goats increased by 2.7% to 21..6 million.
