Russia-Meat company to liquidate.

RUSSIA-MEAT COMPANY TO LIQUIDATE.

The Board of Directors of ОАО "Belmyaso" (Belgorod, part of "Cherkizovo") made the decision on convening of extraordinary meeting of shareholders on March 24, where the issue on voluntary liquidation of ОАО "Belmyaso" will be discussed. The shareholders listed in the register dd. February 10, 2009, will be present at the meeting, as it is said in the company’s materials.

In the first half of 2008 the net loss of "Belmyaso" increased up to 44.5 million rubles against 20.3 million rubles for the corresponding period of the previous year. The enterprise’s revenue was down from 388.6 million rubles for January – June 2007 to 196.7 million rubles for the same period of 2008. Cherkizovo officials have not commented the information yet.
