CATTLE FACE SOUTH.

Farmers have known for years that cattle in a field, always seem to face the same way when grazing.

Images from Google Earth, have confirmed that cattle tend to align their bodies from north to south.

Wild deer also seem to exhibit the same behavior.

The study and satellite photographs showed, that cattle always sit down before it rains and huddle together before a snow blizzard.

The is however no explanation, as to why they face south when eating.
