Formerly W J Parker & Sons Leicester, Parkers had a chain of high class retail shops in the Leicester area, and an abattoir in Leicester cattle market.

Parkers buyers were well known for their love of top of the line Hereford cattle, that were wholesaled to multiple retail chains and supermarkets, in the fifties and sixties.

Willy Parker went on to found Randall’s and acquired the famous names of Weddel and Swift, who have depots throughout England under the Weddel-Swift banner.
