NEW CHIEF FOR DORSET NFU.

Andy Foot is to be the new chairman of the Dorset National Farmers Union.

Andy said that his predecessor Paul Hams, was going to be a hard act to follow, saying that Paul had been very good at representing local farmers.

Mr Foot is a farmer himself based at Buckland Newton in Dorset, he has held the post of deputy chairman for the last two years.

He said " I believe its my opportunity to give back to Dorset farming, what I have been lucky enough to have been the recipient of in the past from the chairman of the NFU. I need to be able to represent farmers throughout Dorset, large, small, intensive and organic, all equally".


Mr Foots family, have always farmed in Dorset.
