There have been two manuals produced by Eblex, that have put together a guide for Feeding and Finish Cattle For Better Returns and Target Ewe Fertility for Better Returns.

Eblex beef specialist Mary Vickers, said " Feeding not only determines animals performance but also affects the carcass quality. Improving animal performance reduces days to slaughter and cuts production costs".

The sheep booklet, compiled by Liz Genever and Chris Lloyd, focuses on issues than can affect the reproductive performance of flocks.

Old hands at farming say " The only thing constant in the industry is change" and we can learn new ideas on a daily basis.
