8.5 BILLION BURGERS

Around 14 pc of all meat served in restaurants in the United States are burgers, in one form or another. These figures were released by market research company NPD Group, last week. This amounts to 8.8 billion burgers a year.

The study indicated that as well as fast food outlets, more exotic types of burgers could be found in the traditional restaurants.
