United States-Head of worlds largest meat company resigns.

HEAD OF TYSONS WALKS OUT.

The worlds largest meat processor made a shock announcement today, that the company CEO Dick Bond had resigned effective immediately, 5 January 2009.

The position is being filled by former CEO and Chairman Leland Tollet, is going to step into the position, according to a press release on the companies web page.

There has been no comment from the company, only a very brief statement from Dick saying "After seven years of leading the worlds largest meat company, I have decided it is in my best interest and in the interest of the company, that I move on to pursue other interests. I have a lot of my time and my personal money invested in Tyson Foods, so I wish them all the best for the future".
