United States-The economic meltdown.

UNITED STATES-ECONOMIC DEPRESSION.

Anyone with an ounce of business sense, will understand that the United States is finished as an economic powerhouse for the foreseeable future.

While the well meaning administration is trying to bail out a crippled economy, they have no comprehension of the first rule of business, "You never borrow money to pay debt", you re-negotiate with the creditors.

The fact that the large bankers have paid themselves billions of dollars in bonus’s, while their ships were sinking, shows how much common business sense the government have.

This was all paid out on tax payers bail out money.

Wall Street has to still find a level of 7,500 points or less, before it is anywhere near the bottom of the market.

As for the interest rates at zero, that just beggars belief, and shows how little the Reserve Bank know of making money rather than counting it.

The fiasco at Enron followed by World Com, should have been the warning light, this debacle of blatant fraud in a public company and the demise of Arthur Anderson, goes to show how easy it was for Bush and Cheyney, to cook the books of government.

Bush was taking advise from the fat cats at Enron, up to the day they closed, hiding US$14 billion in debts.

If it was not so serious it could be compared to a Monty Python show, as these people really have no idea of anything, more than asset stripping and building empires such as Haliburton on un-tendered government contracts.

The fear factor worked for eight years and the words "If you are not for us you are against us".

The media was afraid to criticize, people were afraid of being called un-patriotic forgetting that "Patriotism is the last refuge of the Scoundrel".

Had Bush and his coalition of the Bribed and Coerced, been able to get his hands on the oil in Iraq, it could have been a whole different story.

For that was the only reason, the unlawful invasion of a sovereign state was perpetrated.

With the best will in the world and the wind in the right direction, this financial mess in the United States is going to take a generation to sort out.
