NEW BEEF PLANT.

Northern Beef Packers in Aberdeen S.D. , are planning to open their new state-of the- art beef plant in May, that will have a capacity of 700 cattle per day.

Dennis Hellwig the head of the company, said that he remains committed to building the best beef plant despite the current credit squeeze, and the plant is gong to bigger and more costly than originally planned.

There has been a South Korean consortium, who invested US$35 million into the project, under a government economic migrant scheme, that enables the investors to receive a green card.

The plant has had many problems, the most recent with two of the construction contractors, who are in dispute over prices quoted and money that has in fact been charged.
