GOVERNMENT AGREE FARMERS COMPENSATION

The government of Vietnam have agreed to pay farmers up to 70 pc of the value of livestock slaughtered to eradicate disease..

Farmers in Vietnam who have slaughtered livestock, in order to stop the spread of avian flue and TB, are now going to be compensated by the government.

Previously small farmers had to carry the loss themselves and this has caused great hardship in rural communities
