Wales-Pedigree dairy herd of 330 cows to be slaughtered today Wednesday 7 January with TB.

TB PROBLEMS.

A dairy firm that supplies flavored milk drinks, to supermarkets across the United Kingdom, says it is business as usual despite losing most of its herd to bovine TB.

335 of the 390 cattle at Trioni Ltd, farm in Boncath, Pembrokeshire, must be slaughtered as TB Reactors.

The company makes that Daloni range of milk drinks, said there had been no danger to the public and that they had alternative supplies of organic milk.

There have already been 230 calves from the farm slaughtered, and the cows will be slaughtered on Wednesday.


There were 8,000 cattle slaughtered in Wales, as TB Reactors in 2007.
