Zimbabwe-Government to prosecute 140 white farmers.

ZIMBABWE.

GOVERNMENT TO PROSECUTE FARMERS.

The government of Zimbabwe is to prosecute 140 white farmers, for nor leaving their farms by September 30 this year, as ordered by the government in part of the nations land redistribution scheme.

This will make a total of 4,000 white farmers, that have been evicted from farms in the former Rhodesia, once the bread basket of Africa. The country can no longer feed or support itself. The situation in Zimbabwe is getting worse on a daily basis.

Many white farmers re-located in Mozambique, where the government gave the farmers great incentives including rented farms, in order for them to assist in re-building the economy, this has been a win, win situation for the farmers and the government.

When the president of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe, was in prison for 9 years before independence, his wife was taken care of by Christopher Soames, former Minister of Agriculture of Great Britain, who was married to Sally Churchill the daughter of Sir Winston Churchill.
