Natural England is encouraging farmers and landowners to return their completed claim forms for Countryside Stewardship and Environmentally Sensitive Area Scheme annual payments as soon as possible in order to benefit from this year"e;s earlier payment timescales. As far as possible, payments are processed in date of receipt order, so the earlier claim forms are submitted, the earlier payments are likely to be made after the 16 October, when the EU funding is released.
