ARGENTINE BEEF PACKERS LAUNCH AGED BEEF LABEL
The recently increased use of the Port of Buenos Aires, by cruise liners sometimes dispatching up to 10,000 passengers at a time into the city, has created a new market for Argentine beef.
The ships chandlers supplying the beef to the cruise ships require aged beef, to ensure complete tenderness in the cuts.
To service this large market Argentine Beef Packers SA,at Frigorifico Yaguanna, have introduced "Matured Argentine Beef" brand, The beef is dry-aged on the bone in carcass form for 10 days before processing.
The new product has been well received from the ships suppliers and is now being exported to the port of Rotterdam, to service European cruise liners.
