Argentina-Farmers claim government help.
ARGENTINA-FARM CLAIMS.
About 500 farmers have signed up for the government aid plan, which gives them tax exemption as well as other benefits, if they have been hurt by the drought.
The farmers will also receive interest free loans for the purchase of agricultural equipment and necessities for the farm.
This all comes under the banner of the state of emergency, decreed by the government in relation to the drought, the deal stands until February 2010 despite the recent rains.
