Argentina-No flights to Mexico.

ARGENTINA-NO FLIGHTS TO MEXICO.

Health Minister Graciela Ocaña said yesterday the government decision to suspend all flights from Mexico due to the Influenza A virus outbreak was not an act of discrimination against Mexico but simply a measure aiming to "avoid the virus from entering" the country.

Ocaña’s statement came a day after Mexican Foreign Minister Patricia Espinosa described as "discriminatory" the decision of Argentina, Peru, Ecuador and Cuba to suspend all flights from Mexico. The measure was set to end yesterday at midnight but was extended indefinitely.

"We have offered our cooperation, but we have to try to stop the virus from entering the country," Ocaña said in a radio interview.
