ARGENTINA-PAY RISE FOR BUTCHERS..

The Shop Employees Union (SEC) reached a salary agreement with the management. Employees will be granted a 300-peso bonus over the next six months. Workers will receive the bonus, which will not count as a full party of their salary, from April to September, when they will resume salary negotiations. SEC General Secretary Armando Cavallieri said the agreement will benefit "nearly a million workers". Last week, SEC workers had staged a protest at the Labour Ministry in demand of a salary raise.
