Australia-Beef exports down to Japan.

BEEF EXPORTS TO JAPAN.

Beef exports to Japan from Australia, were down 18% from November 2007 to this year, according to figures released this week.

Prices however have dropped a massive 25%, in the last three months.

The USA have been heavily discounting beef in Japan, Taiwan and South Korea, which has had an impact on Australian beef.

There was 8,464 tons of grain fed beef and 4,717 tons of grass fed beef, exported for the month of November
