Australia-Dairy farming crisis.

AUSTRALIA.

DAIRY INDUSTRY IN BIG TROUBLE.

Japanese owned and Melbourne based National Foods, splashed out close to one billion dollars three weeks ago to take over Dairy Farmers Australia, the nations largest creamery.

Three weeks later with the down turn in prices and drop in export sales of dairy produce, it looks a very bad buy, according to financial analysis and economic experts.

The other large milk processor in Australia Murray Goulburn, has already announced that they will be cutting milk prices in February, which is another direct result of the decline in exports causing a surplus on the domestic market.
