QUEENS LAND GOVERNMENT SET UP NEW MARKETING BODY FOR BEEF.

The $4.3 billion beef industry in Queensland, now has new marketing body called Future Beef.

This has been set up by the Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries, to improve the marketing and management of the $4.3 billion beef industry in the state.

Ms Brigid Nelson, has been appointed as the new General Manager of FutureBeef.

She has been involved in research and development in the beef industry, for the last 10 years and is well known and respected in Queensaland cattle circles.
