US$90 MILLION BEEF PLANTS AND YARDS FOR WESTERN AUSTRALIA.
A feasibility study has been commissioned by members of the Red Meat Action Group, into the proposals to build a new beef plant, boning halls, tannery and by products plant in south west of WA.
The beef complex will also have livestock yards for 20,000 head of cattle for live shipping on site.
RMAG chairman, Gary Buller, says the time is right to create a new state of the art facility in WA that can encompass al parts of the industry from the farm gate to supermarket packaging.
