Award for showing future of farming

A farmer from Northamptonshire has been presented with a national award for his use of environmentally-friendly land management techniques.

David Hutchinson, who has lived and worked all his life on his 300-hectare arable farm in Strixton, near Earls Barton, has been presented with Natural England’s Future of Farming award.

The Future of Farming Awards celebrate the achievement of farmers who have made the greatest contribution to conserving and opening up access to England’s special wildlife and landscapes.
