BBC Countryfile to visit Lincolnshire Show
The BBC's Countryfile programme is to drop in on the 124th Lincolnshire Show next week.
Presenter Adam Henson, who also pioneers rare breed conservation at the Cotswold Farm Park, will visit the Show on Wednesday 19th June.
He will be talking to rare breed farmers at the Lincolnshire Show and discussing the recent Bluetongue outbreak.
The Lincolnshire Show will be featured on Countryfile at 11am next Sunday 22nd June on BBC One.
Sarah Poucher, Marketing and Events Co-ordinator at the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, said the visit of Countryfile is yet another boost for the Show, which is set to build on the successes of recent years.
"Everything's set for a brilliant Show this year and the fact that Countryfile want to come and film here is the icing on the cake," she said.
"We're looking forward to welcoming Adam to Lincolnshire and we're sure that he'll find plenty to interest Countryfile's viewers at the Show."
Countryfile was first broadcast on BBC Television in 1988 and reports on rural and environmental issues in the UK.
