Better seeders and pelleters at LAMMA
Stocks Ag Ltd is showing improved versions of its TurboJet air seeders and FanJet Pro pellet applicators at LAMMA 2008.
The latest TurboJet air seeders have a high-performance radar-based control system, individual seed rolls for each outlet, a new feed motor and other improvements. The control system provides very accurate output in relation to ground speed, allows rate changes on the move, displays working data in real time and stores data in its memory. Calibration is simple and accurate.
The new models are available with eight or ten outlets, which can be adapted to increase or decrease the number in operation. Each outlet has a separate seed roll, which gives very accurate rate control, and the rolls are powered by a new design of electric motor and gear-box with integral encoder.
The latest FanJet Pro pellet applicators have a new disc motor with higher torque and a faster running speed that requires a lower power input than previous models, making them suitable for use on ATVs. Product metering and spread consistency have also been improved.

Sliding adjustable width deflectors for headland control or to provide stepless mechanical adjustment of the spreading width are permanently attached to the equipment and allow the spread pattern to be quickly adjusted. Several new optional features are also available.
