Big Sheep farmers market was a huge success

Shoppers turned out in their droves for the BIG Sheep’s Farmers’ Market on Saturday.

Numbers for this year’s first market of three were 20% up on 2007 numbers and stallholders were delighted with the support they received.

Hallwood Fresh Veg, who won Best Farmers Market Stand in the 2008 North Devon Awards, enjoyed their first visit to the market — and are looking forward to returning on December 13 and 20.
