Blackacre Farm Eggs of North Cheriton, Somerset is delighted to announce that its free-range eggs are now available locally in seven Asda stores. Blackacre has been producing fresh, award-winning eggs in the Westcountry for 30 years and this is the first time it has supplied its eggs to a major national retailer.
Dan Wood from Blackacre Farm comments: "We already supply over 700 customers throughout the South West with our free-range eggs and going into one of the major supermarkets is a huge step in the right direction for Blackacre. The move will ensure that Asda shoppers in this area are able to buy fresh and delicious free-range eggs laid by hens roaming in Westcountry fields."
Blackacre Farm Eggs is a family-run company and all its free-range eggs are laid either on Blackacre Farm at North Cheriton, or on one of the other local, family-run farms that the Company works with; hand picked by Blackacre for their similar family values. Eggs from Blackacre are now available from the Yeovil, Frome, Bridgwater, Taunton, Weston Super Mare, Highbridge and Trowbridge Asda stores.
Dan continues: "At Blackacre Farm we pack and distribute all our own eggs and our move into Asda is not only great news for shoppers looking to buy the very best Westcountry eggs, but also for our team of packers and drivers at Blackacre Farm and the local family farms that we work with. We have always believed that healthy happy hens will produce healthy and delicious eggs, and the move into Asda stores is testament to the years of hard work that we have put into maintaining this ethos."
