Bolivia-Live cattle for Iran.

LIVE CATTLE TO IRAN.

The recent trips to Libya and Iran, by President Evo Morales of Bolivia, culminated in much needed foreign investment in the gas and oil development in Bolivia.

There was a trade deal done with the government of Iran, for the export of live cattle from Bolivia, for slaughter and breeding.

Iran cannot buy cattle from Brazil owing to foot-and-mouth restrictions, however there is no problem with Bolivia.

The contract is open ended, the first load was shipped in two weeks ago.

Bolivia has been in turmoil for the last three months, as the land owners are looking for greater autonomy, for their states
