Bomford’s Century of Success at Cereals

BOMFORD Ltd, who this year is celebrating its centenary, will be exhibiting the new BUZZARD at Cereals, which is the latest addition to its 'Birds of Prey' hedgecutter range.

Originally a manufacturer of steam engines and dredging equipment, Bomford over the past 100 years has grown to become one of Britain's largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery, and a World leader in the development of hedge and verge cutting equipment.

The new BUZZARD range of telescopic arm hedgecutters are designed for users who demand quality, reliability and excellent controllability. BUZZARD is available with a working reach of 6.5m or 7.25m and is available with either a 1.2m or a 1.5m wide Pro-Cut flail head, with the option of up to six different flail types.

The BUZZARD features the latest Intelligent Control System (ICS) control unit, which gives the operator proportional control of all the main arm and head functions. A digital readout also provides the operator with information such as PTO speed and the unit provides a range of automatic warnings.
